天晴くんに、心臓移植手術を。

知人の先輩のお子さん岩田天晴くん（13歳）が、心臓移植をしなくてはならなくなりました。
日本では15歳未満の臓器提供が法的に禁止されているため、莫大な費用のかかる米国での心臓移植
という方法しか残されていません。
その額、約1億4千万円。
正直、個人でどうこうなる金額ではありません。
しかし個人、一人の力ではどうすることができなくても、十人、百人、千人・・・の力が集まれば
何とかなるはず。
その力を集める事ができるのが、インターネットの本当のすごさ。
皆さんのお力を、どうかお貸しください。
日本の未来を担う、少年の為に。

１５歳未満でも心臓移植は受けられますよ。
国内最年少の心移植者は８歳の男の子でした。
ＹｏｕＴｕｂｅにアップされている記者会見の内容を見ると、天晴君も日本の臓器移植ネットワークに登録されているとか。
ただ国内ではあまりにも提供される心臓が少ないので渡米されるのでは？
ドナーカードはお持ちですか？

そうですね。確かにちょっと言葉が足りませんでした・・。
日本で禁止されているのは１５歳未満からの臓器提供であって、移植を受けるのは１５歳未満でもOKということですね。
この辺の法律早く何とかならないもんでしょうか・・。
臓器移植推進派の医師でも法律を改正しても小児ドナーはほとんど現われないだろうという見解です。
心停止後の献腎や心臓弁、角膜の提供は１５歳未満の場合でも親の同意のみで可能なのですが、日本国内では年間１～数件しか提供がありません。
呼吸器をつけて眠っているようにしか見えない脳死状態の子供の心臓を提供するのは日本人の親にとって、かなりハードルの高い決意が必要でしょう。まず大人の臓器提供、子供の心停止後の提供が根付かない限り、こうした移植募金はなくならないと思われます。
また、米国・カナダで脳死と診断された患者３名が納得できない家族と共に日本に帰国して治療を受けた所、３人とも意識を回復したという報道もあります。
米国にドナーが多いのは国民の肉体や死に対する考え方、医療文化の違いがまず土台にあるのでしょう。

臓器提供・ドナー登録というものをもっと普及させていかなければいけません。
